  • Job Corps is the nation's largest and most comprehensive residential, education and job training program for youth, ages 16 through 24.
  • Since 1964, Job Corps has prepared generations of young adults for meaningful work by providing integrated academic, vocational, and employability skills training, thereby helping them to gain independence and get quality, long-term jobs or further their education.

About Trapper Creek Job Corps Center

  • Our center opened in 1966 and is operated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service.
  • It is located at the southern end of the Bitterroot Valley , approximately 70 miles south of Missoula, Montana, in the Bitterroot National Forest.
  • We are a 224 student, co-ed center offering 10 vocational training areas.
  • Students graduating from Trapper Creek have the training and educational skills needed to secure employment in long-term careers.
